IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Cloud & Infrastructure Team Leader, this role is responsible for supporting the network, server & cloud infrastructure that underpins the operational IT services delivered to the firm.

The firm is currently undertaking an extensive program of works to renovate, modernise, and secure the infrastructure stack that will support the on-going growth and development of the firm.

The post holder will primarily focus on the implementation of upgrades and new systems, alongside the maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, automation, and improvement of existing systems.

• Support the Infrastructure Team with the optimal management, development, and support of the RWK Goodman technology infrastructure.
• This includes working across the full infrastructure stack including Servers, storage, networking, security and cloud.
• Perform daily checks and event management.
• Troubleshoot day to day infrastructure issues.
• Monitor systems and enhance monitoring capabilities.
• Manage updates across the Servers and endpoints.
• Carry out routine firmware and software updates across the infrastructure estate.

Skills Required

Technologies - PowerShell, Active Directory/Group Policy, Windows Server, Disaster Recovery and Backups, Exchange Online, Mimecast, VMware, HPE, Endpoint (MDM), Citrix, Azure IaaS, M365 (SharePoint, Azure AD), Firewalls, Routers/Switches and Network Security tools.

This role offers hybrid working - 2 days WFH/3 days office based.
