Hybrid Contract Network Manager

Hybrid Contract Network manager required to work in my client's Cooperate office in Paris, France.

Please NOTE: This is a remote contract, however you must be able to work in my clients office most of the week(s), in Paris, until you are fully trained, understand your team and know the business. When you have achieved this, you will be able to work from home but you need to be flexible and realistically this should take 3 to 4 weeks.

This falls outside of IR35 but please do NOT apply if you are only looking for fully remote contracts ONLY!

Job purpose:

You will work closely with the Infrastructure Security Team, the System Administrators and the local Service Desk Teams across Europe.

Job responsibilities:

• Managing the network and defining the action plan
• Monitor and guarantee the maximum availability of the entire WAN/LAN network
• Pilot the upgrade and the migration to the selected SDWAN/SASE solution
• Secure all external access: firewall, VPN connections, SSL gateway in accordance with our IT Security policies
• Propose and control architecture changes to improve network performance and applications availability

Skills required:

• Proven 3/5yrs Global or Multi Countries working as a Network Manager.
• Network migration skills.
• You will have a solid technical background (Network, Systems) with a strong organisational capacity to handle multiple subjects in parallel; you are comfortable communicating and able to amicably communicate at all levels from Junior/Senior Network Engineers through to Directors and Stakeholders.
• This is an English speaking position in an international/multicultural environment.
• Desirable; French speaking and based in Paris or France.

You will be paid expenses if you need to travel from their Paris office to other areas. Please not you will not be able to claim expenses from your home to the Paris office.
