Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot radar and VHF equipment in the field
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and testing
- Provide technical support and training to end users
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Document all field activities and maintain accurate records
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience working with radar and VHF systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various onsite locations
Day-to-day
- Travel to customer sites to install and service radar and VHF equipment
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance
- Communicate with customers to provide updates and training on equipment usage
- Stay current on industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance field engineering capabilities
