Desktop Support Engineer required to work near to Cobham.

You must hold a full driving licence and have your own transport to be considered as my client is far from the train station. You will also be required to travel to the other offices, locally to Cobham.

Also please note that this is 5 days in the office and no remote or Hybrid working. However for the successful candidate, this role offers great longevity and security and the benefits are very rewarding too.

Job purpose:

  • This role is responsible for acting as contact at my client's HQ and to report issues and faults relating to End User Support Services.
  • The primary objective of the role is to provide first time resolution which will be achieved by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving problems and/or escalating the fault to the Solution Engineer Team to investigate.
  • Diagnosing and resolving problems to the customers satisfaction.

Skills Required:

  • Proven 2/3yrs + working in IT Support 1st and 2nd line.
  • You must have good working knowledge on all of; Mac, Windows, Apple iOS.
  • A keen interest in networking and printing technology.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a customer first approach to support and be able to liaise and communicate confidently and professionally.
  • Natural aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm - This position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
