Claims Operations Manager required to work in London.

Job purpose:

This role is responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day operation of a Claims team by managing and motivating the claims department ensuring that service standards and targets are achieved and procedures followed. 

The role will involve conducting reviews, undertaking performance management and keeping accurate development and training records for each staff member. 

This is an operational leadership role and as such a high level of commitment and energy are essential, combined with a flexible positive attitude.

Skills required:

  • Ideally Finance or Insurance industry experience, ideally within a Claims related background

  • Previous decision-making experience, proven people management experience, proven experience of identifying individual development needs.
  • Proficient customer service experience & sound experience working towards individual, team and departmental service standards and targets
  • A flexible and positive attitude & excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proven complaint handling experience
  • Sound organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
