  • Track funding opportunities, application progress, deadlines and post-award requirements.

Private office responsibilities:

  • Maintain a confidential register of personal properties, accounts, advisers, policies and recurring commitments.

  • Liaise with banks, insurers, brokers, solicitors, accountants, property agents and suppliers.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong hands-on bookkeeping experience across multiple companies or clients.
  • An AAT, ICB or equivalent qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Confident use of accounting software, receipt capture tools, spreadsheets and online financial systems.
  • Experience coordinating or contributing to grant, funding or tender applications.
  • Excellent written communication, including the ability to present complex information clearly and build a convincing case for funding.
  • Exceptional discretion, sound judgement and respect for confidential information.
  • A calm, practical approach when communicating with external advisers, funders and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
