3rd Line IT Support Engineer 

3^rd Line IT Support Engineer. My client based in Newcastle are looking for a 3^rd Line IT Support Engineer but would consider an experienced 2^nd liner ready to step into a 3rd line role. Client will offer training and progression!

This role offers hybrid working depending on project work and is very flexible on working hours!

You will be responsible for performing in-depth solution research to assist with incident management or planned replacement or the introduction of a new product / solution. Supporting the production of technical specifications and / or solutions. Also supporting and advising colleagues from Service Desk roles when investigating incidents.

You must have some of the following:

• Active Directory
• Server & Desktop virtualisation technologies, specifically Microsoft Hyper-V, RDS
• Deployment / Update technologies
• Imaging experience
• Enterprise storage technologies including SAN
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
• Experience/understanding of ITIL

Any SQL Server, Azure, Always On, Microsoft Certifications are a bonus!

Please note this role does require you to have a full driving licence/car for occasional site visits/ being on-call.
