1st Line IT Technical Support role required on Jersey Island.
Key skills for the role:-
Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of PC hardware, software, and operating systems, particularly Windows and O365. Familiarity with troubleshooting common issues and using ticketing systems like Freshdesk are advantageous.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. This includes analytical thinking and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users who may not be tech-savvy. Patience and a friendly demeanour are key to providing a positive user experience.
Multitasking Abilities: The capability to handle multiple support requests simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Good organisational skills to keep track of various issues and their resolutions.
Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of basic networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues. This includes knowledge of routers, switches, and common network protocols
You will be fully trained and there is an option to work Hybrid, on my client’s site and working from home, once you are full compliant and fully trained.
